Relationship Counselling in Eastleigh

Counselling and therapy for individuals in a safe, comfortable and private setting

Maintaining personal relationships can be difficult and the stress and pressure of everyday life can take its toll on the ties we have built between friends, family members and partners.

However, if you are currently struggling in this area of your personal life, it is important to remember that you do not have to do it on your own and there is help and support available to you in the form of relationship counselling.

Counselling can be beneficial for every type of relationship, providing the space to work through issues relating to parenting, marriage and divorce, friendships, colleagues and more.

I offer counselling for individuals and couples, providing a safe and confidential space in which you can explore any issues that are causing you distress.

As your counsellor I will provide you with the opportunity to work through your troublesome thoughts and feelings in a neutral environment and a judgement-free space, allowing you to process your concerns and move past any stumbling blocks that may be holding you back.

What Issues Can Relationship Counselling Help With?

Many different relationship issues can be successfully tackled with talking therapy, including:

  • Couples counselling

- Sexuality/intimacy

- Emotional intimacy

- Infidelity

- Bereavement and loss

- Domestic violence

- Bullying

- Anger management

- Abuse

- Trauma

Gestalt Therapy

As a counsellor, I specialise in Humanistic Gestalt therapy, which concentrates on the immediate present and how your past affects you and influences your emotions now, rather than how you felt at that time.

This type of therapy is interactive and feedback focused, with sessions potentially including techniques such as imagining that the person you’re in conflict with is sitting opposite you, allowing you to explain your feelings to them before switching roles and responding from their point of view.

This kind of approach allows you to explore the conflicts within yourself, leading to greater self-awareness and ultimate resolution.

I offer relationship counselling sessions to adults and young people over the age of 18, either in person, online or over the phone. I cover the Winchester, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, Southampton and Eastleigh areas, although remote counselling is also available for anyone in the UK.

If you are having difficulties in any area of life and feel as though you need some support, get in touch with me today to see how I may be able to help.
